Organizations & Networking

While it is easy to find Pagan websites, the real task is to find the sites that are best suited to your needs and style preferences.  If you have browsed much of Solitary-Pagan.net you've learned about my style, and my choices for the most helpful websites reflect my goals for this site.  I've made an attempt to categorize these listing by Organizations & Resources, Networking, and News -- but often that's an artificial distinction.  Many sites are multifaceted, providing organizational information, membership, information, links, news, and even e-mail groups and chats.

For the most comprehensive list of resources, check Yahoo! and Google:
   Yahoo! Paganism, Organizations
Yahoo! Paganism, Traditions and Paths (find organizations for Asatru, Celticism, Druidism, Hellenic, Wicca, and many others)
Google Pagan, Organizations (includes Networking, Activism, and Student groups)

Pagan Organizations

The following are websites I've found particularly helpful.  Because Solitary-Pagan.net is based in the United States most of the websites I have here are in English and most are from a U.S. perspective -- but certainly there are Pagans world-wide and many other quality websites beyond what is listed here.

The Witches Voice Pagan Educational Network
Covenant of the Goddess (CoG) Children of Artemis
Pagan Institute Report, Activist News A Pagan Nation
The Cauldron:  A Pagan Forum BeliefNet.com, Pagan & Earth-Based
The Glass Temple
(check the WebWeaving Links - excellent)
The Wiccan-Pagan Times
Pagan Federation Wicca & Paganism at About.com
Church of All Worlds Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance (Pagan-Friendly)
Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) The Pagan Activist Newspaper

Also, in your internet searching, remember to check for local and regional organizations.  Many of them have e-mail lists.  A couple that I check closely for events in my area are the Delaware Valley Pagan Network and the  Mid-Atlantic Pagan Alliance.

Another way to connect with Pagan organizations is to check the recommended resources suggested in your favorite books.  Many are featuring websites as well as postal service contact information.  You may also want to check out a resource guide book, such as Gerina Dunwich's The Modern Witch's Complete Sourcebook.

Organizations for Pagan Professionals

You might be surprised at the groups of Pagan professionals who are forming for support and shared resources.  For example...

Pagan Alliance of Nurses - for Pagan health care professionals

Military Pagan Network - for Pagans in the military

Officers of Avalon - for Pagans in law enforcement

Use a search engine to see what you can find in your career area, and don't forget to try Yahoo! Groups and other e-mail groups services.

College and University Organizations

Many colleges and universities have student pagan organizations.  Check out these great directories of Student Pagan Groups:

There is a wealth of information to be found in these sites.  Many have sections on how to start a student group.  Many also have discussions on how to deal with difficult situations on a college campus.  Sites like College Wicca also provide thoughtful advice for college students.  For additional listing you can search for specific schools or enter a generic search, such as Pagan, Student, University, in the Research Tools.

Digital Newsletters and E-Zines

You can sign up for Pagan news through the following:

Or check these directories

And, of course, if you go to a search engine and use the words "Pagan newsletter" you will find many, many options!
